Shinra's pretty much useless for the whole of season 2 and we don't see any of the quick thinking or power in season two, from Shinra that were clearly present at the end of season 1. Not even at season 2's end. Because of said massive downgrade, Shinra would get crushed by just about every bad guy out there. He's only good for small fry. He wasn't able to pull off a single solo victory during S2. So I don't get what anime you're watching but it sure as heck weren't Season II of this anime. Limit Breaking is kinda beside the point too, in this case.

sir, u didnt watch s2, he learns 2 signs that give him a huge buff, idk what ur talking about, the people hes going against arent that weak to even beat them, that doctor and tall black buff guy arent ez enemies, he barely won fights in that season, idek if yk about survival instinct

For anyone aside from Swish and myself:
This next part is a huge spoiler, so don't read if you've not watched season II already.

In what season exactly? He didn't win a single fight, one to one during S2. His peak moment in the whole of season 2 was his fight with Charon, which in the end he still lost and likely would have been kidnapped had Charon not been called away.
He learns two signs that help him power up a little and he gets to use his burst power maybe 2 or three times, if I recall, only one of which was directed at an opponent. He used borrowed power and even that wasn't a one on one fight.


Maybe in Season III he'll get to the point where he can take them on evenly, but honestly, he's got all the fighting power and relevance of a side character rby the end of season 2.

So if your previously mentioned MF (in your original post) gets a grace boost and no longer needs... shall we say a cast time, then Shinra would be undoubtedly crushed, and likely so EVEN if he powered up significantly, from his point at the end of season II. To begin with, she's a bad match up for him power wise. He'd have to close in on her and she can blast him long before he gets close enough, where as Sho can actually stop time, so at the right distance Sho would be guaranteed victory. Shinra on the other hand has to close in the whole time, charge up his maximum power so he can unleash it (cuz you know we're always waiting at least 20 second for him to go from really fast to light speed+) and since the Adrenalin junkie chick's only range limit seems to be her field of vision it'll always be a straight up loss for Shinra unless he develops some sort of god power. Though honestly I've kinda lost interest in him as a main character at this point.
